If you need a good starting point on disassembling these keyboards and keybeds, try the following site, it's for the 01/W but the wavestation has the same keybed so it's very close: If you have a spare wavestation for parts, you could try and exchange the key contacts assembly from the spare one and see if it's working ok. I would check that first (connectors) then move to the contacts, if all that is ok, it's maybe a component that's going bad. If the key is not making sound at all, like synthjoe said, it can be the key contact that's bent or out of place, it can be the key resistor going bad, or a problem on the matrix, or even a dirty or corroded contact on the key contact board connector. If it's a mechanical problem, check if the key spring and the key it self is ok, if not replace it. Is the key not working as in not working well mechanically or it's not making any sound? Well it really depends on the symptoms are, it can be relatively easy or more complicated. Will take some time and experience to troubleshoot (perhaps you'd better to involve a tech), but the fix should not be such a big deal. It can be a problem of the key contact strip or a faulty diode (or similar) in the scanning matrix.
